Occasionally there are some meets which are arranged which require folks to pay some money to go - I'm talking about trips to the NorthernFurs meets down in England; or going out to Karaoke and such like.
These meets all need booking in advance, which usually means someone has to pay for a booking out of their own pocket and then try and get that back from Folks who have been known to be quite reluctant to paying their share.
To make this easier, all the events that are organised by me (Rymew) which have this requirement will be using EventWax (you can find out more about it here) to set places and most importantly, collect cash from folks who want to go.
This keeps things fair and easy. It's safe and all the transactions are processed through PayPal.
The first such meet which falls into this category is the Edinburgh post-meet Karaoke Thing.
